Midlothian Access Point
The Midlothian Access Point is open to people aged 18 to 65 who are registered with a GP in Midlothian and who are looking to improve their mental health and wellbeing.
Midlothian Mental Health and Resilience Service (MHARS)
If you live in Midlothian, are aged 18 to 65 and are overwhelmed, suicidal, in distress or in crisis and need support with mental health and wellbeing then telephone MHARS on 0800 118 2962 between 8am to 10pm, 7 days a week.
You will have a short confidential conversation about your needs and will then receive a call back within an hour from an appropriate Mental Health and Well Being Practitioner.
For those aged under 18 or over 65, please contact our practice if you are dealing with a mental health emergency.
Free Stress Control Classes
Do you recognise these signs in yourself or someone close to you?
Worry, tiredness, poor sleep, feeling worthless, panic attacks, feeling on the edge, being tearful, feeling irritable.
Then come along to a series of 6 free classes to learn more. You will not be asked to speak in front of a group.
Classes are delivered by NHS and Health in Mind staff. Classes are delivered in a lecture format.
When: Classes run on a 6 week block.
Where: Loanhead Leisure Centre.
Feeling Good - Positive Mindset App
All NHS Lothian patients have free access to the Feeling Good app. It is an easy to use audio app to help you overcome stress, low mood, and worry, and sleep better too!
