Midwives and Health Visitors
If you are newly pregnant, you need to register with the local midwifery team by calling 0131 536 2009.
If you need help and advice during your pregnancy, please call the local midwifery team based in the health centre on 0131 537 9886.
If you have a child under the age of five and have concerns about their health and development, please call the health visitor team based in the health centre on 0131 537 9903.

Ready Steady Baby!
Ready Steady Baby helps you get ready for parenthood by taking you through the whole of your pregnancy from the early symptoms, through the antenatal care you will receive and on to advise on how to get through labour and birth.
Termination of pregnancy
You can self refer to Chalmers Centre by telephoning 0131 536 2454 between the hours of 9am and 3pm Monday to Friday. Please ensure you are able to speak privately when you call. You will be asked for some personal details relating to your appointment.
